Hi, I'm Esteban

I've spent more than a decade doing what I love most: taking ideas to the canvas. I specialise in backend: APIs, job queues and services that have to hold data at scale without breaking a sweat. And the layer underneath: AWS infrastructure described with Terraform, and ClickHouse when the results are what matter most.

Since 2015 I've been at Epinium, where I help build an agentic AI platform: it turns user-generated content and big data into actionable insight about products, competitors and markets in real time.

In my free time I keep experimenting. I'm drawn to experiences rather than things. I get a lot out of my favourite musicians and I'm always up for an adventure. Right now I'm taking my first steps as an amateur DJ, and I love it.

I find it hard to stop at my own bit. I want to see the idea finished and actually useful to someone.

I like working where nobody looks. AWS infrastructure written with Terraform, ClickHouse when the numbers stop fitting.

I spend my days on data, queues and APIs so an AI platform has something to pull from. Without that plumbing, AI doesn't go anywhere.

I build and maintain the backend of Epinium, the agentic AI platform driving brands in Full Commerce: Amazon, eCommerce, marketplaces and retail media. I design APIs, queue-based async pipelines and data models that turn user-generated content and big data into actionable data in real time. Alongside that, I explore my own path through personal projects.

Official website of La Llevantina: we're a housing cooperative rooted in Mataró, betting on a right-of-use model: no mortgages, no speculative rents, living together with dignity.
